Celebrating Gratitude and Expression

Swarnprastha Public School hosted a vibrant special assembly and celebration on 30 April 2026, commemorating World Labour Day and International Dance Day.

The celebration began with a touch of innocence and warmth. Nursery to Class 2 students participated enthusiastically by preparing crowns and sashes, singing songs, presenting handmade gifts and expressing their heartfelt gratitude to the support staff.

A special assembly in the afternoon attended by students of Class3 to 12, began by instilling gratitude in students through fiery poetic renditions drawing attention to the invaluable helping hands who make school life comfortable and joyful, echoing the thought, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

The assembly also commemorated dance—one of the most ancient and dynamic art forms— showcasing how it sets the rhythm of festivities, unites diverse communities and at times becomes a form of worship, deeply rooted in human civilisation. An energetic dance performance on the song “Believer” captivated the audience.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt gift ceremony honouring the support staff, leaving all inspired and appreciative.
