Inter School Roller Skating Competition

“Roller skating is a sport, an art form, a lifestyle, and a culture.”

Roller skating is a perfect way to combine fitness with fun. It helps to develop a fitness habit with a sport that is enjoyable for all. Also, it makes one feel athletic, graceful and beautiful. In order to build self-confidence and overall personality an ‘Inter School Roller Skating Competition’ was organised on 6th October 2023 at Swarnprastha Public School for the students of different schools of Sonipat under different categories.

The programme began with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by the warm welcome and honour of all the respective coaches of the schools with T-shirts and a token of gratitude by the Principal, Mr. Rohit Panda.

All the participants were given a numbered sticker. Different races wherein the children participated are Adjustable, Quads, Baby Inline and Speed Inline starting from the Under 5 to the Under 19 category. 

The top-notch skaters of Swarnprastha Public School and other schools gave stellar performances and brought laurels to their respective schools. The winners were honoured with medals and certificates by the Principal, Mr Rohit Panda, Headmaster, Mr SP Singh and Headmistress, Ms. Megha Kaushik.
