Design Thinking and Chat GPT Workshop by Mr. Shiva Ganesh at Swarnprastha Public School

On Wednesday, 11 October 2023, Swarnprastha Public School organized a workshop for the students of Class 6 to Class 12. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce the students to the concepts of Design Thinking and Chat GPT, two innovative and transformative technologies shaping the digital landscape.

The workshop aimed to enable students to explore the possibilities of incorporating Design Thinking and Chat GPT in their projects and to inspire students to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Mr. Shiva Ganesh the resource person initiated the workshop by explaining the concept of Design Thinking through interactive discussions and real-life examples, he helped students understand the five stages of Design Thinking - empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Students were encouraged to think about problem-solving in a human-centered approach. The workshop then transitioned into an introduction to ChatGPT, an AI language model developed by OpenAI. He explained the key features and applications of Chat GPT. Throughout the workshop, he encouraged students to ask questions and actively participate in discussions. Students gained insights into the importance of brainstorming, prototyping, and testing ideas before implementing them. They were inspired to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions through the Design Thinking methodology.

The workshop served as a stepping stone for students to incorporate Design Thinking and ChatGPT in their future endeavors, enabling them to address challenges effectively and pursue innovative solutions.
