Welcome to 'SWARNPRASTHA' School

Cultivating Knowledge

  • 27 April 2024

The school kitchen garden is maintained under the guidance of teachers with regular care.

Students actively participate in planting, watering, weeding and harvesting activities, gaining practical knowledge about gardening techniques and ecosystem dynamics in the process. Composting practices are integrated to enrich soil fertility and minimize waste.

The garden features a diverse array of organically grown vegetables which include tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, spinach and herbs. Crop selection is based on seasonal availability, nutritional value, and educational relevance. Students apply their knowledge acquired in the classrooms about plant life cycles, soil health, pest management and the importance of biodiversity in making sustainable agriculture a reality within the school campus.
