Philately Exhibition and Quiz

Postage Stamps Speak Stories

A captivating Philately Exhibition and Quiz was held at Swarnprastha Public School, Sonipat, on 8 October 2025. Organized under the guidance of Mr. Raj Kr. Verma, Superintendent of Post, Sonipat Division and trainers Mr. Amarjit, Ms. Darshana, Ms. Sween and Ms. Preeti, the event took students on a global journey through rare stamps, first day covers and international collections. Inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s words, “The hobby of kings can be enjoyed by all,” the exhibition ended with a fun, knowledge packed quiz.

The winners were awarded prizes by the Postal Department, Sonipat. Mr. Verma also made the students know about the concept of "My Stamp" where anyone can have his/ her photograph on the stamp and use it as well. It was altogether a different experience highly appreciated by the Postal Department.
