Life outside the classroom

At Swarnprastha, education goes beyond Campus, Libraries, Textbooks, Labs , Curricula, Faculty because we believe education just not apply to only traditional form of teaching but it’s a very much part of daily life. We provide excellent opportunities like Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Spic Macay, Interact Club, Atal Tinkering Lab, to our students with high quality learning activities in relevant situations beyond the walls of the classroom. It helps them to appreciate their first hand experiences from a variety of different perspectives be it acquiring Future skills sets, Leadership lessons, Sports, Music, Community Service, Adventure , Theater, Literature etc.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD: In our quest to prepare global leaders and citizens for tomorrow by shaping the personality of the learners by moving them out from their comfort zones, SPS is working closely with the International Award for Young People wherein participants will get three levels (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in the areas of Service, Skills, Physical Recreation & Adventurous Journey

SPIC MACAY: Swarnprastha Public School also has a strategic understanding with SPIC MACAY. The purpose is to enrich the quality of formal education by increasing awareness about different aspects of Indian heritage and inspiring the young mind to imbibe the values embedded in it.

INTERACT CLUB: Swarnprastha Public School is an active member of Rotary club and in the process of constituting Interact Club for the students ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills, connect with community leaders, to make international  network & to participate in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) and Youth Exchange.

 Many students are members of school sports teams which successfully compete in numerous disciplines against other International schools in the region. After class, students choose from the many Extra-Curricular activities on offer –Music lessons, Vocal & Instrumental group, Dance, Drama, Cookery amongst many more… Students also frequently go to the cinema, theatre, attend concerts and live shows, competitions in Delhi NCR region.

All students, day and boarding, are encouraged to fully participate in all these activities at all times as the school is keen to develop the students’ ecological awareness and sense of responsibility to the world in which we live in.
